Two kinds of card, and the page never blurs them: From the artist - something they chose to say through Backstage - and New release · Detected by Forté - a verified Apple release Forté noticed, stated as fact, never dressed up as the artist's own voice. No ranking system decides what you see.

Forté can't promise attention - nobody honestly can. It promises delivery: to the feed of every listener who chose to follow.

Everything shown above is live in the product today. Built toward - city demand signals, so a tour can be routed to the people already listening, and commerce and ticketing connections. Neither exists yet, and Forté won't advertise either as though it did.

The rules we're building against
  1. Discovery stays free for listeners.
  2. Organic recommendations cannot be bought. No artist can pay to be recommended.
  3. Emerging and independent artists get a real chance to be heard.
  4. Major-label artists are welcome. Forté is independent-first, not independent-only.
  5. A Match is a listener's choice, not permission to message them.
  6. Artists control what they publish, and which recordings represent them.
  7. Music is the product - not bait for something else.
